Prior to the patch whenever I died I would return to the closes cairn I put down, but now it sends me back to my estate instead. This has happened when I was in a different realm as well.

To confirm, you have died in both your Abeyance Realm and other Realms, and been brought back to your Estate Cairn in either case?
Have you destroyed or rebuilt any of your cairns?
