Metal Ball Bearing base attributes don't show on item

Workbench shows Metal Ball Bearing base attributes as weight 0.2 and Damage Bonus 200%. When adding any ingot the Damage Bonus disappears and is replaced by Critical Damage 5%. The base attributes before adding material should be updated to reflect the intended final product.
