was knocked out side the dungeon when fighting a boss and after re entering the dungeon and killing the boss the boss fight wouldn't end and restarting the game acts as if the boss was never spawned but i can no longer start the fight

If at all possible, when in this area, please press F2 and attach the screenshot overlay to this post so we might be better able to investigate the issue.
