Cannot build Tudor Corner Stairs on second story

I have fully supported all corners of where the corner stairs snap in place on the first floor, but the blueprint continues to appear red as if it is unsupported. I have tried removing the upper floor, walls, and everything that could potentially be in the way and still cannot get it to allow me to place the blueprint.
