Nightingale Legacy Portal
today I went and started my PC to play some Nightingale, booted up steam and I immediately noticed that something was wrong. In the steam news page (see below) it showed two posts,one from the start of the "spark of hope" event and one for the launch of the offline mode.
This is weird since it should show the most recent post and not those two.
No matter, I started playing like normal, getting some farming done and finishing with some fishing before I had to go to lunch and do some chores.
After I was done I wanted to play some more so I boot it up, click offline mode as always, but my character does not show up! not only that but the "Travel to respite" button is grayed out and clicking "resume" only brings me back to the Online/Offline mode selection screen.
Please I don't want to loose my progress.

A few additional questions from our investigation team:
- have you been playing exclusively Offline?
- is there a number that appears at the top centre of the screen when you make it to the character create/select menu? if so, what is it?
I guess it has to do with a login issue.
I have made a temporary character to see if I had kept all my "Spark of hope" recipes (since I farmed a lot to unlock all of them), turns out I don't and when entering the arbayance realm, a message stating how I was unable to log it popped up.
Additionally, I forgot to mention that from the moment that this problem popped up I started to get all the title screens you get on a first boot of the game (the one about the processor etc) which I had only seen once before and never again! furthermore all my settings had been reset on the first boot of the issue.
Please, bring my boy Mewt back
