After respawning from lack of food, I am unable to use the enter key (on both the main keyboard and the numeric keypad). I am forced to rebind my interact key to something else to continue gameplay, unless I exit and restart the game. This would not be an issue, except to collect rare items dropped before death and respawn - like gold ore.

To confirm, had you set any custom key bindings prior to this, or were you playing with the default settings?
Were you standing still when your character perished, or were you engaged in any other action before starvation took over?
