recipes show "haven't unlocked requirements" even in abeyance realm

almost all the crafting stations show the ? on the left of them suggesting i haven't unlocked some previous requirement. Its a bit confusing and difficult to discern if its accurate or i just need to move augments around to get a recipe to show up i believe should be available. Even the abeyance real shows this, and ive bought all the listed items up through the watch.
