Remapping Alt key interferes with various keybind functionality including running jump and scroll wheel

I routinely remap the Alt key in games to Sprint/Run, which has led to discovering some problems in Nightingale.

1) If I remap the Alt Key to Sprint, I can no longer do a running jump, because holding Alt+W prevents me from jumping with the Space Bar. It simply doesn't register the keypress until I release Alt.

If I remap the run key to Shift, or reset keys to default, I can run and jump normally.

2) If I remap the Alt key to Sprint, it also affects the "Alt+Scroll Wheel" functionality used to scroll between offhand items.

The Left Alt key remapped to Sprint will allow me to Sprint, but it will no longer function to scroll between offhand items. Holding LAlt and rolling the mousewheel will not scroll between offhand items as intended.

if I reset keys to default, in which Alt is unbound, I can use the Alt+Scroll Wheel normally.

(The Right Alt key, unmapped, will still scroll between offhand items regardless of the LAlt remapping)

I am using a standard Logitech keyboard on Windows 10, no gamepad connected.
