I'm in an ascended swamp realm and the vendor's gypsy type cart is there but the vendor was missing in action. What I tried to resolve the issue: I logged out and back in. I also quit to desktop and restarted the game but still there was no vendor.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. If at all possible, please press F2 while in-game at this location and attach a screenshot of the overlay menu to this post so we can better understand what maybe causing the issue.

I had the same issue in the Swamp Antiquarian realm (offline mode). When I arrived to the realm, I went directly to Ludivine St. Claire and completed the quest to get the cure potion. Then I went to the vendor (the Icon appeared on the map and on the compass). When I got to the vendor cart, the cart was there but not the vendor. The vendor icon disappeared from the map and the compass. I logged off (to desktop) and then started the game again (I stayed at the cart so that's where I resumed). When I logged in, the vendor icon appeared on the compass, then creatures spawned and the vendor icon disappeared from the map and the compass. The vendor did not appear (but the cart remains). I traveled to Respite, then went back through the portal to the Swamp Antiquarian realm. As I approached the vendor cart, briefly saw the vendor's name (Eddie) located underground (I approached the cart from a lower elevation than the cart, so the name looked like the NPC was underground as well).
Where'd he go?
