I'd love to see swords!

Since this takes place in the Victorian era, I was thinking it would be really cool if we saw dueling swords in Nightingale! I feel like the knives are a bit underwhelming and not as visually interesting as say, a rapier or a short sword. The main idea is that it could be similar to the knife but with longer reach but also it is inherently slower. Also it wouldn't be able to skin creatures.

I just always enjoyed the concept of a gun and a sword so I felt it would be a fun addition to the game. More weapon types in general, please!

I kinda hope sword (rapier, foil, saber...) or at least sword cane to be implemented, as they are representative victorian weapons

Yeah I am kinda weirded out to always see there are no swords in this game. ^^' Feels like there should be. Does not seem to be a reason not to put them in there. xD

    no... sorry...

    • more than enough "weapons"

    • You can't skill any weapon or/and build e.g. a sword warrior.

Need upgrade for knifes to machete for skinning and self-defence and add bayonet to rifles and a sabres as melee weapons.

Lets take this a notch further, when adding swords, how about adding gunblade as variants too, and no I am not talking about the large unwieldy ones from a certain other long running game series, but something more akin to what was actually designed in reality around the 16th century, maybe earlier, see attached picture.
We already have firearms with different fire modes, this would be no different, left click would do slashes right click would cause you to fire at the enemy.

There are more than a dozen different straight and curved swords in use in the 1800s and early 1900s. I would like a Spadroon
