Deadly Player Hunting Creatures

Now I'm more for one that likes having the sense of danger when in realms, was wondering if anyone else had an idea for occasional creatures for realms that spawn randomly and try to hunt the player?

It wouldn't be for every realm, perhaps the higher the difficulty you go, the increased the chance of the creature to spawn. Unless you go to a gloom realm to which oh well its more of "when" it will spawn in and not "if".

Thoughts for this would be new deadly creatures suited for each Biome and when or how they would spawn. Have them scaled with greater difficulty than the biome they are in to make them a dangerous challenge if they do spawn.

Pretty much would be if you see them the situation turns into an "Oh ♥♥♥♥" moment no matter how powerful you are. Even having them scale with the highest gear score member in the realm. It could also turn into a thrilling game of cat and mouse in some situations.

If so, what type of creature would you recommend for each biome?

This sort of thing is exactly what Minor Cards are for :)

    What to name it?

    "Hunter Hunted"

    "Most Dangerous Game"

"Acteon" is the greek hunter who started the trope:

This trope has roots as far back as Greek Mythology, where a quite literal hunter, Actaeon, is transformed into a deer by Artemis and eventually torn apart by his own dogs.

"Struwelpeter" has a story about a rabbit taking a hunter's gun:

More on Acteon in that link, too.

There will be many rebalance passes before release but at Gear 270 I feel TOO powerful which is fine for now.
I wonder if the predator scaled off your actual stats so no matter when you pick a fight you have to bring your A game?

The zero new graphics cost is the current Apex predators but COMING FOR YOU :)

If we are getting more beasties I'd love some Lewis Carrol inspired ones like the Jabberwock, Bandersnatch...I'd love to see what Inflexion calls a Snark, Jub-jub bird or Slithy Tove :)

I think any British Commonwealth mythological creatures are fair game - Australian Bunyips or Yowies? South-East Asian have flying butt witches that suck blood through butts!?! Anything not Tolkien-esque as much as I love it, Nightingale has standards. Weird standards I love :) Would be interesting to get a list of countries colonised in the Victorian era and see what under-used myths and monster tropes they have.
