Request: NPCs add items to existing stacks rather than closest chest

I wish the NPCs would stack onto items that are already in chests and not just put them in the nearest chest to them

    Stupid that they merged two entirely different pieces of feedback into one. I agree entirely with the "merged" post, that the "Equivalent" button would be a very nice QoL feature when moving things to and from companion inventory and that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the request above that the suggestion was merged with.

    Make 1 chest available to them and move things yourself to where they need to go.

Add the "Equivalent" inventory ability to companion inventory management

The ability to move "Equivalent" items to or from "chests" has been a really nice feature that has made management of inventories much easier. Please can you add this feature to the inventory management screen for the companion's inventory.
