Rifle ammo for 1000 rounds weighs 100 kg which is 220 lbs.

5.56 M-16 ammo weighs roughly 30 lbs for 1000 rounds

7.62 AK-47 ammo weighs roughly 42 lbs for 1000 rounds.

The Chassepot Rifle used 11mm rounds that weighed about 30.6 grams each.

So for 1000 rounds of .451 ammo would come out to about 30.6 kg.
