We need a resource tier transmuter

Once you graduate a tier almost all of the prior work gathering is rendered almost totally useless with the T1 wood and fiber useful for only construction and kindling and the stacks of T1 meats and hides underpowered to what you find in the new realms. it kind of kills any steam having to search for and rebuild stockpiles you spent hours gathering all over again. I feel like there should be a way to boost an item's tier by transmuting them provided you have a "seed" of the same item from the next tier up even at a 2 to 1 ratio this would help take the edge off of progressing tiers. It could also use collected essence of that tier in addition to the seed item to give essence past tier 1 more uses.
