Need more early cooking options

Cooking needs more options earlier on. I am at the end of tier 1 playing for hours and am still subsisting on basic cooked meat. Literally had Puck show up and poke fun at me for not making nicer food. There needs to be more to the cooking system early in the game so we are not eating the same thing over and over until later tiers.
