Heart of the Elder Eaton quest - combat need adjustment

Trying to kill Elder Eaton is hard enough, but the game literally constantly attacks with swarms of wisps and the pyro team, which has perfect aim and can hit you anywhere (such as when I was hiding on a cliff and they could not see (no line of site) yet their artillery can get you no matter where you hide. I literally could not fight Eaton because the other enemy NPCs swarmed me non stop. Tried about 5 times, I am ready to throw in the towel. How about just letting the player fight Eaton without SO many extra enemies swarming the player? Thanks.
