When trying to complete the survivor aid for Ida on the Ascended Antiquarian Swamp Realm, the job never finishes. I can see what needs materials and I have the required materials but they don't add to the structure. It is the pillar structure just behind a building.

Same problem, Swamp Astrolabe and Antiquarian (run into it twice now). Screenshots with stuck progress and the pillars in question added.
I have the same, in a Desert Herbarium for the Nellie Bly quest, no realm cards active
Can't complete this aid quest in a Desert Astrolabe realm due to incompletable pillars.
This happens to me a lot in the Ascended Swamp Realms - no quest givers so no way to do the quest or the pillars won't fill in the materials I give them no matter what I do. It bugs out the follower as well, they won't add any components to any part of the building if part of it is bugged.
I have this error at all these Aid quests. even with the NPC
This aid specifically never spawns with an NPC no matter what realm we find it in. We play multiplayer only.
The pillars and 2 of the saws in the main part of the homestead are incompletable. Even using Auto-fill. All other components done. have encountered this event several times and every time it was incompletable. I have tried it each time to see if the issue has been fixed with some time in game to get all the parts ect so frustrating to say the least. Saws seem unreachable due to geometry maybe? Too close to shelf making them unelectable. No idea why the pillars are unbuildable. This should have been addressed urgently in the recent update as it has been around since 0.3, disappointing.
I have encountered this twice on separate characters, both in the Desert Antiquariuan realm. By the merged posts, it looks like the same Aid template with the three crude posts next to a cast iron contraption resembling a steam engine. The second time around, as the posts normally need a foundation or floor, I added foundations snapped to the posts, but I was still unable to add the required materials to finish the posts.
Forest Provisioner Aid quest will not let me complete it despite having all the necessary materials. It is 3 stick columns of some kind that remain "Blueprinted"
Still happening. Ran across an Aid quest in a Forest Astrolabe Ascended realm with the same type of pillars that can't complete. Also finished everything else which required a lot of odd mats, but those pillars taunt me and the aid event remains incomplete.
Yup, another one here in a 160 hunt swamp. Quite expensive aid, needing etched ingots, brass, ore, lenses, hinges etc. All wasted because it has three poles/pillars that can't be completed.
my fiance and I came across one of these, it had no NPCs but we still decided to complete the buildings, we dont get the completion so the chest with rewards wont open. please fix this, we absolutely love the game
Also am not able to finish a construction because of this issue. I there a way to do it?
I've come across a number of bugged Aid quests in Antiquarian Realms in Offline mode:
A campsite that had no quest giver in a Forest Realm, so wouldn't start
A building unable to complete because of missing pillars in a Desert Realm. This on also had saws on storage shelves that couldn't have resources added too
A building in a Desert Realm that completed, but didn't have all resources added. This one kept looking like blueprints when I reloaded the realm
A building in a Swamp Realm that didn't have and quest giver, so wouldn't start
